The LD-442 cable tie mounting saddle base is a versatile cable management accessory that combines a PA66 nylon saddle with either a high-strength adhesive foam tape backing or an optional screw mounting hole. The saddle holds a standard cable tie (2.5mm, 3.6mm, or 4.8mm width) while the base anchors to a flat surface, allowing cables to be bundled and routed along walls, enclosures, racks, and equipment without drilling.

PA66 (Nylon 66) provides the saddle with the rigidity and strength needed to hold cable bundles under tension. The material resists cracking, maintains performance across a wide temperature range, and tolerates the long-term stress of tightened cable ties without creep or distortion. This makes the LD-442 suitable for both light residential cable runs and heavier industrial cable management where the base must support multiple ties or larger tie widths.

The adhesive backing uses an acrylic foam tape of the 3M VHB type, which bonds to painted metal, glass, plastics, sealed wood, and powder-coated surfaces. Acrylic foam tape develops high initial grab and reaches full bond strength within 24 to 72 hours, distributing stress across the contact area to resist vibration and pull-out. For applications where adhesive may be insufficient, the base also offers a screw mounting hole for mechanical fastening into wood, metal, or masonry with appropriate anchors.

The LD-442 is available in base sizes from 15x15mm up to 38x38mm, accommodating cable ties from 2.5mm to 4.8mm width. White, natural, and black color options match common enclosure and rack finishes. Supplied in bags of 100 pieces with master cartons of 1,000 to 5,000, the saddle bases are ideal for data center cable management, automotive wiring routing, home theater and AV installations, and any application requiring clean, drill-free cable anchoring.
