FAQ
Can the track be bent for bay windows or curved installations?
The standard LD-241 aluminum track can be bent to a minimum radius of 200mm for bay window and corner installations. For tighter curves, we offer a flexible track version made from PVC or flexible aluminum alloy. Always specify the required bend radius and angle when ordering for curved installations.
How many gliders do I need per meter of track?
Use 8-10 gliders per meter of track for standard-weight curtains, and 10-12 gliders per meter for heavy drapes. For a 3-meter track with standard curtains, you would need approximately 24-30 gliders. Each glider typically supports one curtain hook or pleat.
Can I use this track with a cord pull system?
Yes, the LD-241 track is compatible with cord-drawn operation. Order the track with cord pulley end caps and overlapping gliders (master and slave gliders) that connect to the pull cord. The cord system allows the curtain to be opened and closed from one side using a continuous pull cord loop.
What is the maximum weight the track can support?
The LD-241 track supports up to 15kg per meter for the single track and 25kg per meter for the double track configuration, assuming brackets are spaced every 60-80cm. For heavy velvet or blackout curtains exceeding this weight, use the heavy-duty track with 2.0mm wall thickness and reduce bracket spacing to 50cm.
