FAQ
How much weight can the hook support?
The LD-235 single hook supports 5-10kg when properly mounted into wall studs or with appropriate wall anchors. For heavy winter coats and bathrobes, mounting into a wall stud is recommended. For drywall mounting without studs, use the included wall anchors which are rated for up to 5kg per hook.
What is the recommended mounting height?
Standard mounting height for coat hooks is 1500-1700mm from the floor. For bathroom robe hooks, mount at 1600-1800mm. For children's hooks, mount at 1000-1200mm. For ADA accessible installations, mount at 1200mm maximum from the floor.
Can I mount this hook on a hollow door?
Yes, the LD-235 hook can be mounted on hollow doors using the included plastic wall anchors. For hollow core doors, use toggle bolts or molly bolts for maximum holding strength. Avoid mounting on very thin hollow doors or doors with thin veneer surfaces.
How do I clean and maintain the hook finish?
Wipe regularly with a soft damp cloth. For the mirror polish finish, use a microfiber cloth to prevent water spots and fingerprints. For the satin brushed finish, clean along the grain direction. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, and harsh chemical cleaners that can scratch the finish. The gold and rose gold electroplated finishes should be cleaned with a soft dry cloth only.
