How do I measure for the correct drawer slide length?
Measure the cabinet interior depth from the back of the face frame to the back wall. Select a slide length equal to or slightly shorter than this measurement. Standard slide lengths are 250mm, 300mm, 350mm, 400mm, 450mm, and 500mm. The slide should not extend beyond the cabinet depth.
What is the required clearance on each side of the drawer?
The LD-202 slide requires 12.7mm (1/2 inch) clearance on each side of the drawer. The drawer box width should be the cabinet opening width minus 25.4mm (1 inch) to accommodate both slides. Always verify measurements before building the drawer box.
What is the difference between 3/4 extension and full extension slides?
3/4 extension slides allow the drawer to extend approximately 75% of its length, leaving the rear quarter inside the cabinet. Full extension slides like the LD-202 allow the entire drawer to extend out, providing complete access to the back of the drawer.
